About the Show

By Bob Heather

A RAODS Production

Our fun-filled, hilarious family panto!

When Mark Miller discovers his father's will, he inherits the old run down mill and the family cat - but he doesn't realise that Puss is a talking cat. When the wicked Squire also discovers the cat can talk, he decides he wants the cat for himself. Aunt Maisie arrives to help Mark with the mill, but in the meantime he has fallen in love with the beautiful Princess Rose. Not knowing what to do or which way to turn, help arrives unexpectedly from Mark's magical cat.

“A purr-fectly pitched family panto. Hannah Fairweather steals every scene as a Puss with real swagger, and the slapstick kitchen routine had the whole house in tears of laughter.”
Jenny Marsh · The Abbey Chronicle
“Gareth Pennington's Aunt Maisie is a dame for the ages: seven costume changes, each more outrageous than the last.”
Colin Hart · Hampshire Stage Notes
“Proof that community theatre in Romsey is in rude health. Book early next year.”
Priya Desai · Test Valley Theatre Guide
